A canal house that slows down
The owners of this 18th-century canal house had the bones but not the warmth. The living room felt like a waiting room: everything along the walls, nothing to gather around.
We pulled the seating into the centre, layered two vintage rugs and introduced a palette of clay, oat and smoked oak. The result is quieter, softer and finally feels lived in.
