About Julieta
I believe a home should tell the story of the people who live in it.
I grew up in a house full of things with a story: my grandmother's cabinet, a rug from a market in Marrakech, chairs nobody matched on purpose. It taught me that the best rooms aren't bought in one go. They're gathered.
After years working in retail styling and visual merchandising, I started my own studio to do what I love most: helping people feel truly at home. Today I work with homeowners all over the Netherlands, from canal houses in Amsterdam to new-build family homes.
My approach
Warm, layered, personal
I start with what you already have. Most homes don't need more stuff; they need the right things in the right place, a considered palette and better light.
From there I layer: natural materials, a little vintage, one bold move per room. The goal is a home that feels calm and personal, never like a showroom.
What guides me
Keep what you love
Your pieces are the starting point, not an obstacle.
Honest materials
Wood, linen, wool, clay and stone that age beautifully.
Second-hand first
Vintage and pre-loved finds add character and are kinder to the planet.
Let's talk about your home
Tell me a little about the room you're stuck on. I'll come back to you within two working days with a suggestion for where to start.
